The California Highway Patrol reported that Bernald died Friday morning when her 2001 Toyota Sequoia went off Highway 101 in Arcata, flipped and crashed into a barrier, according to ABC affiliateKRCR. As a result of the crash, Bernald suffered fatal injuries.
