Does anyone out there really have enough devices to warrant an 8 - port HDMI whipper ? I intend , you could have a PS3 , an Xbox 360 Elite , a HD DVD player and a Blu - shaft instrumentalist , and despite the redundance and pointlessness in having all of those things you ’d still have four empty port .
But then , I guess this thing is n’t really for regular consumer use , project it ’s meant to be mounted in a single-foot and not sit on top of a receiving system . And $ 900 is n’t a very consumer - favorable terms for a dull old switcher . But hey , if you ’re one of the half dozen or so the great unwashed out there who really need to be capable to switch between eight HDMI devices , go addict .
