On this week’sBachelor in Paradise, another day brought another new arrival.
This time, hostJesse Palmerwelcomed Tanner Courtad fromCharity Lawson’s season ofThe Bacheloretteto the beach and gave him a date card.
Tanner, 30, first pulled Jess Girod, and when he complimented how she looked, she replied, “I was bloated today, so I put a one-piece on.”
Then Tanner spoke with Kat Izzo, which worriedBrayden Bowers. Brayden, 25, freaked out more when Tanner decided to take Kat, 26, on the date.
“I’m crossing my fingers, my toes, my legs, everything right now,” Brayden told his castmates. “I’m really hoping I’m the decision she makes.”

Tanner and Kat went horseback riding and she told the cameras she felt “super giddy.” Afterwards, they settled in on the sand, sipped champagne and shared their first kiss.
“Today exceeded all expectations in every shape and form,” Kat said in an interview. “Tanner’s just like, someone I can see myself outside of here with.”
When Kat returned to the beach, she told Brayden about her “fun” date with Tanner.
“I had to listen to my gut at the end of the day, and I just don’t know if I see my feelings growing any more between you and I,” she said to Brayden.
Brayden asked “what changed” since he gave her a rose. “I was just listening to my feelings,” Kat said.
Brayden felt hurt. “I allowed myself to fantasize about a future outside of her and all of a sudden I’m like, I don’t exist at all,” he told the cameras.
Brayden told the other men he thought he “got played.”
Meanwhile, Kat’s friends Jess and Kylee Russell tried to bring Kat back down to earth after her out-of-this-world date.
“You need to be considerate of everyone’s emotions,” Kylee, 25, said to Kat. “Brayden is, like, really, really upset.”
Jess explained that Brayden had described Kat as “cold” to other people on the beach and had said he thought “it was like a switch” when their connection changed. Feeling that Brayden didn’t understand her side, Kat pulled him to chat again.
“I don’t want my words to be twisted because you’re not fully hearing what I’m saying,” she said.
“You want me to not feel the way I’m feeling?” Brayden asked.
Kat thought she did everything she could to tell Brayden how she felt.
Still, “I feel hurt,” Brayden said. “I feel cheap.I feel like a dirty whore.”

Sam Jeffries didn’t want to have to wait another day for her own “arrival.”
She informed Olivia Lewis and bartenderWells Adamsabout the situation. “Like Cinderella, but instead of a glass slipper, it’s a big dookie,” said Wells, 39.
