According to the Hollywood newsman , Bill Murray will make an appearing in the upcoming reboot of Ghostbusters . The doer portray Dr. Peter Venkman in the original 1984 film , and was spotted in Boston , Massachusetts in the beginning this hebdomad , where the film is currently in yield .
Murray ’s role in the film is unnamed as of yet : his original co - wiz , Dan Aykroyd , will have a cameo appearance in the picture show , and is n’t reprising his character from the earliest movie .
