On Friday, the K-pop idol, 26, released“3D”featuring the Kentucky rapper, 25. The dance-pop song follows his solo debut, “Seven” (feat.Latto), and arrived along with its sleek music video featuring the two stars.
“3D” feels resonant of ‘00s*NSYNCradio hits and finds the BTS member expressing just how dedicated he is to getting to the lover he’s yearning for — even if it means traveling across dimensions.

The video also has a hint of nostalgia, as the K-pop artist busts out choreography with a crew of dancers in all-denim ensembles like a big Y2K dance video. Harlow — who delivers two saucy verses that tout how charismatic he is with women — also teams up with the star in the visual.
Jungkook also expressed in a press release how excited he was to work with Harlow. “He’s a great artist that I like and have followed for a while,” Jungkook shared. “I had a lot of fun working with him. His voice fit ‘3D’ perfectly and really added to the sensual vibe of the song.”

“3D” comes several months after Jungkook teamed up with rapper Latto for his debut solo song “Seven” in July. In his statement, the singer also shared that he “felt a bit of pressure” releasing his follow up. He explained that the song’s success — which made him the first member of BTS to reachNo. 1 on the Billboard Global Charts— ultimately gave him a “boost of courage to take on a new challenge.”
After the song dropped, the youngest BTS bandmate debuted the song live onGood Morning America.

“Seven” marked his official solo debut, but in the past, the recording artist released three solo tracks within BTS’ discography: 2016’s “Begin, 2018’s “Euphoria” and 2020’s “My Time.”
Shortly after the release of “Seven,” PEOPLE spoke to Jungkook’s collaborator Latto, 24, abouthopping on the single. “It literally has been so surreal witnessing his fanbase and how much they support him — it’s literally artist goals. I was so shocked,” she said.
The rapper continued, “I’m like, ‘Are you sure you want me?’ I felt so much pressure to do it, but I was like, ‘You know what? He reached out to me for a reason. Let me just go in there and do what I do best.’ To see everybody’s reaction to my verse and how much they love it, it’s so fulfilling. Hopefully I get to go to Korea soon.”
