Speaking to theEvening Standard , 45 - year - former Lee break how he had been using a socket on a wagon train between Hackney Wick and Camden Road on Friday July 10th , before being confront by a community support military officer .
“ She say I ’m abstracting electrical energy , ” he said .
“ She was quite aggressive about it and keep saying it ’s a crime . We were just coming into the station , and there hap to be about four law officers on the platform .
“ She call to them and said ‘ This guy ’s been abstracting electrical energy , he take to be arrested . ’ ”
Lee tried to shrug off the “ cockeyed ” offensive , but was whomp , bundled into a waiting police force new wave and taken to the British Transport Police ( BTP ) HQ on Islington ’s Caledonian Road . He was then released .
According to the BTP , Lee ’s “ aggressive ” deportment may have been as instrumental in his arrest as his brash charging .
“ We were call to Camden Road London Overground station on Friday , July 10 , to a paper of a man becoming strong-growing when challenged by a PCSO about his usage of a stopple socket onboard an Overground train , ” said a BTP spokesman .
