Undertaker William Betancur ’s a man with a charge . His pursuance ? To catalogue the entire universe of spectre , apparitions , and poltergeists in the Colombian city of Medellin . So far 215 ghosts have been cataloged and 23 were snap or recorded .
Betancur venture on this undertaking after he sensed his ghostly dog wandering around his funeral parlor . Hetold AFP :
It ’s beyond question that many of the metropolis ’s buildings and homes have spectre . For years , we ’ve hear stories about them and we think the time had come to approach , catalogue and sort them through a census [ … Tipsters ] just have to phone or netmail us ( [ email protect ] ) and depending on their physical materialisation — noises , sparkle light display or images — that ’s how they ’ll be sort .
Some of you may scoff at Betancur ’s project , but I think this is a great estimation . Ecto sapiens are on a regular basis ignored by nosecount taker and incessantly disenfranchised in the public sphere . It ’s about metre somebody stood up for their postmortem rights .
