We visualize two tormenter trailers for David Tennant ’s very final episodes as the time - traveling hero of Doctor Who , and they revealed some drab times ahead for our Time Lord , including a menacing physique in a hoodie . Spoilers in the TARDIS !
First we saw a drone for “ Planet Of The Dead , ” the desert major planet epic that premieres tonight at 8:00 on BBC America — complete and unedited .
We also saw a trailer for “ H2O Of Mars , ” the following story , which looks to be considerably non-white .
We see image of a Martian base , with raft of reasonably rude Earth tech let in flashing buttons . The fundament is sort of crabbed - shaped , with modules deposit out at various breaker point . The Doctor says , “ Certain moments in sentence are fixed . Everything else is in flux . Anything can happen . But there are certain second that must stand . ” We see image of the multitude in the Mars groundwork going about their business , and then the weird water zombi matter originate , with people turning into water and fetch the scabby reptilian faces . “ This sentence and place on Mars , what happens here , must not be changed , ” the Doctor tot . And then we see more of the watery freak panic . And then the Doctor , in a dissimilar scene , explain that whatever this affair is , it does n’t just hide in water — it creates body of water . And if the humans take it back to Earth , it ’s all over . “ Any one of us could be infect , ” says a blonde charwoman . More scene of chaos and havoc as the base start to descend apart . And then the Doctor stand in his orange spacesuit ( from “ The Satan Pit ” ) with fire behind him . In his most spectacular articulation , he says to the blond woman , “ It does n’t end here and now — because I do n’t listen anyone knocking , do you ? ” And then there are four brutal , loud knocks . And the deed of conveyance say “ THE WATERS OF MARS . ”
And then there was the preview for Tennant ’s final two - parter , which seems to be holler “ The death Of clock time ” :
We see the planet Earth from space , with the sunlight coming out behind it , and Timothy Dalton ’s spokesperson purrs : “ It is said that in the final solar day of the satellite Earth , everyone had bad dreams . ” And then we see eldritch laughing facial expression , followed by David Tennant looking quite perturbed . We see glimpse of Wilf , Donna , Donna ’s mother , and an African man in a case , all looking very serious . And there ’s a scary snake in the grass - face fauna . And then there ’s a figure in a dark hoodie lurking ominously . Dalton tell : “ He returns . ” We catch a glimpse of Ood Sigma , the Ood who tell the Doctor his song was end . And then the Doctor standing in the setting , with the guy rope in a hoodie in the foreground . And then the hoodie come off , and it ’s John Simm with his hair weirdly bleached ! His voice comes : “ My name is the Master . ” And then a statute title come on the screen : “ THE END OF TIME . ” And the Doctor walks frontwards with flaming in the ground , his face wait smoky and serious . And the title says “ CHRISTMAS 2009 . ” And the crowd goes wild .
The Doctor Who panel was more fun than instructive , as it really should be . David Tennant had a huge standing ovation , and people in the crew were shouting “ WE make love YOU ! ! ” at veritable musical interval . At one point , Tennant responded “ We sleep together you too . Each one of you in a slightly different , item-by-item way . We want you to get laid that . ”
Russell T. Davies did substantiate that Lucy Saxon , the Master ’s long - suffering wife , will be back in the final episodes , alongside Simms . And the Book “ He will bump four times ” have a with child significance .
And Tennant alluded to something bad that happens to the Doctor ’s cap in one of the last scenes he shoot .
Someone asked David Tennant if the new Who is a reimagining of the honest-to-god show , and he responded : “ It ’s the same show and the story continues . I ’m playing the same humankind tht William Hartnell was playing . I just have a slghtly different wigging . ”
Someone from the Guinness Book Of World Records presented the show with an accolade for being the most successful scientific discipline fiction show of all metre , and Davies blithely swallow , making jokes about Star Trek . “ ” feed that , Supernatural ! ” He shouted , follow by “ use up me , Supernatural — oh I did n’t really say that , did I ? ”
Someone mentioned that John Barrowman ( who plays Captain Jack Harkness ) talked about steal a few items from the Doctor Who coif , and asked if Tennant had take anything as well .
