There ’s a young sequence of Undercovers on NBC at 8 premier , presumably because NBC is just burning off the episodes of this already - cancelled show . Sigh .

The MythBusters Holiday Special is on Discovery from 8 postmortem to 9 PM . And then at 9 post-mortem , there ’s the eighth season finale of MythBusters — “ Operation Valkyrie ” :
Adam and Jamie weigh in on a famous assassination attempt . Can you really “ Slap Sense ” into someone ?

It ’s Doctor Who day ! To lionize , BBC America is showing a endurance contest of Doctor Who episodes , begin at midnight Friday night and going all day long . Not only that , but at 1 PM Eastern ( possibly other times in other parts of the country ) , BBC America is feature the first ever broadcast of Doctor Who at the Proms , in which Karen Gillan hosts a live event sport an orchestra performing Doctor Who medicine , feature appearances by all the MD ’s most feared enemies .
