Dua Lipahit a high note at the 2024 BRIT Awards!
The 28-year-old singer served up some captivating choreography at Saturday’s awards ceremony at London’s O2 Arena as she made her first performance since 2021.
Before winning her seventh award at the event for best pop act, Lipa opened the BRITs with her hit single “Training Season,” with a different routine than the oneshe delivered at the Grammy Awardslast month.
She danced and sang in a black leather jacket, shorts and boots before dancers started floating around during verse two of the song.
After Lipa belted out the bridge, two floating dancers grabbed her arms and lifted her off the ground, She proceeded to levitate in the air.
Ahead of Saturday’s event, Lipa shared acarousel poston Instagram to update fans on her rehearsals for the awards show.
“I been deep in BRITS rehearsals and haven’t had anything to post but here are some bts shots from the shoot 🪢,” her caption read alongside snaps of her photo shoot. “Seeee ya tomorrow!!!!!!”
Lipa’s fourth slide featured her lifting her hands in a Polaroid photo, while a bird’s-eye view captured the top of her head as she sat in a pool in the following snap. The “Levitating” singer then rested against a wall in a vest top in the final photo.
Lipa was also nominated for artist of the year and song of the year, but lost both categories to RAYE.
Lipa’s BRIT Awards performance comes after sheattended the 2024 BAFTAs afterpartywith actor Callum Turner in February.
Turner and Lipa held hands as they went to Annabel’s nightclub in London forBritish Vogueand Tiffany & Co.’s annual Fashion & Film party.
The pair, who arrived separately on thered carpetat the awards at the Royal Festival Hall, appeared to be in great spirits as the musician wore a black Valentino gown for the party, while Turner sported a black suit and white shirt.
Lipa and Turner were first romantically linked in January after she attended his movie premiereMasters of the Air’s afterparty in London.
Meanwhile, February saw Lipa attend the2024 Grammyswith her dad, Dukagjin Lipa.
The star — who received nominations for best song written for visual media and song of the year, both for “Dance the Night” fromBarbie —posed alongside her tuxedo-clad father on the red carpet.
