It wasonly just recentlythat we started hearing about Warner Bros. ’ plans for Dune : Prophecy , the mysterious stream serial prequel inspired by the event of Sisterhood of Dune , again . But out of nowhere , we ’ve just got a thunderous first expression at its take on Dune ’s world .

Today Max lifted the lid on Dune : Prophecy , which is typeset about 10,000 years before the event of the primary Dune novel ( andDenis Villeneuve ’s film adaptationsof those books ) , following two sisters of House Harkonnen , Valya and Tula — play byEmily Watson and Olivia Williams , respectively — and as they find themselves press the future by establish the mysterious faction that will go on to influence the circumstances of the galaxy for generation to come : the Bene Gesserit .

It ’s beena long roadfor the series , which was originally title Dune : Sisterhood and firstannounced in 2019 , and went through a litany ofcastanddirectorchanges on the road to becoming Prophecy . Now , it ’ll be the matter that keeps us going while we wait forany scrap of newsabout Dune Messiah .
