Elon Musk’sson Damian gave up meat to help save the planet.
In his new biography on the tech mogul, titledElon Musk,Walter Isaacson discusses the tech entrepreneur’s relationship with his 11 kids, including son Damian, 17, who is one of Musk’s triplets with ex-wifeJustine Wilson. While discussing how different the triplets are, Isaacson writes that Damian was an introvert and ate very little, announcing at age 8 that he was a vegetarian.
Asked why he wanted to give up meat, Damian tells Isaacson, “To decrease my carbon footprint.”
Isaacson goes on to reveal that Damian became a classical music prodigy and excelled in math and physics. “I think Damian is brighter than you,” Musk’s momMayeonce told her son.

Musk shares six children with Wilson. He had his first son, Nevada Alexander, with Wilson in 2002, but at 10 weeks old he died from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
Wilson then gave birth to triplets named Kai, Saxon, and Damian in 2006, two years after having their twins.

In an interview withFinancial Timesin October 2022, the Tesla CEOopened up about whether or not he wanted to welcome more kids in the future. Asked if there are any other kids that Musk has fathered, the SpaceX founder toldthe outlet, “I’m pretty sure there are no other babies looming.”
Despite saying otherwise, Musk, who referred to himself as an “autumn chicken” at 52 years old, shared that he may welcome more kids down the line, so long as he can be a good father to them.
