O’Hare was a prospicient - time stage actor , performing in the 1978 Broadway revival of George Bernard Shaw ’s Man and Superman and the original stage version of Aaron Sorkin ’s A Few Good Men in the role of Lt . Col . Nathan Jessep ( whom Jack Nicholson would play in the moving picture interlingual rendition ) . He appeared in the 1984 horror film C.H.U.D. , and had invitee persona on Tales from the Darkside , L.A. Law , and Law & Order .
TV audiences will best remember him as Jeffrey Sinclair , the Babylon 5 commandant with a mysterious luck . At the close of the show ’s first season , O’Hare and J.
