This little story reminds me of the videos that I took using GoPro ’s 3D sports tv camera kit . I grabbed some footage of an octopus while on vacation in the Caribbean , and a few respectable wipeout of my buddies surfing some stinking wave . I have picayune dubiousness that my amateur filmmaking is the form that puts crowds to sleep , but I occupy this picture with GoPro ’s waterproof 3D sportsman camera kit , which melds the film of two GoPro cameras into one juicy 3D shot . I think the sport photographic camera is the perfect picture gadget to pick up an extra dimension . A few year ago most helmet camera went to wide slant crystalline lens to ensure they amaze all the action in frame , but also to trim back the amount of patent shaky cam . It worked , but had the outcome of making those parachuting and wave we might have conceive huge look minuscule when viewed on screenland . GoPro ’s decision to use their already popular HD television camera as the ground of a 3D fishing tackle is great news for people who already own them , make the price of go 3D less expensive than bribe a whole new camera and mount . Even without a 3D TV or admonisher , the kit comes with a set of red / naughty glasses which play just fine . Files are compatible with iMovie and it ’s pretty easy to upload these files to YouTube , which supports 3D. The video looks really good . The cameras are able to focalise on legible 3D as close as 3 foot away .
By the very nature of the kit ’s multiple photographic camera , and the bud country of place 3D film blue-pencil , it ’s not the easiest appliance to do work with in the world . You have to charge , implication file and turn on the separate photographic camera on their own . It ’s heavy at 12.4 ounces , and a minuscule unwieldily to apply as a handheld or body mounted tv camera — my videos were consistently shaky but water is n’t the good metier for go for a camera unfluctuating , anyhow . But the answer are potentially staggering if those two things do n’t scare you off and you ’re unforced to put in the time .
