Laguna Beach Police responded to the location on Sunday morning and discovered the body, which was later identified as Tatum Goodwin, according to the statement.

By Wednesday, authorities had “enough information and evidence” to track down Dino Rojas-Moreno, the suspect in the 27-year-old’s killing, they said in the press statement.

In aGoFundMe, Marcos Salim Heredi, who worked with Goodwin at Carmelita’s Restaurants, said Goodwin “was a very hard working young lady and always kept a smile on her face.”

“We are still in disbelief and we don’t want her to go unforgotten,” he wrote. “We are attempting to raise capital for her memorial services and also help with creating a memorial in the city, so everyone in town never forgets about our sweet friend Tatum.”

Goodwin worked there for four years, he said.

He worked at the Royal Hawaiian Fire Grill, according to the outlet, which is less than half a mile from Carmelita’s Restaurants in Laguna Beach.

Jail records show Rojas-Moreno, from Aliso Viejo, Calif., is being held on a $1 million bond. It wasn’t immediately clear if he has retained an attorney.
