After the couple was spotted in London pushing a stroller, revealing that they hadwelcomed their first child,Kate Middleton’s younger brother officially shared the announcement on his Instagram page.
The James & Ella founder also revealed that their child is a boy named Inigo.
“No matter how prepared I thought I was…I was not prepared for the overwhelming emotion of meeting Inigo for the first time and the love for my darling Alizée as we became three,” James added.
The first photo in the Instagram carousel featured a pin (which hewore to King Charles' coronationearlier this year) showing James' beloved dog Ella, whodied early this year. James has credited his pup with introducing him to his wife. In a 2019 piece forThe Telegraph,he revealed that he met Alizee at the South Kensington Club after his cocker spaniel “made a beeline” for the French financial analyst.
“We have settled into our new life as parents, and I’ve told him all about Ella and that if it wasn’t for her, he wouldn’t be here today and that we miss her greatly,” James wrote.
After the announcement of the pregnancy, James spoke about how he was preparing his pets for the new arrival onGood Morning Britain.
After their chance meetingin 2018, James and Alizeegot engageda year later andwedin France in September 2021.
Theyannouncedin July that they were expecting their first child.
Over the summer, James, Alizee and the dogs took a boat trip, which he documented on Instagram.
“Treasuring moments like this and cannot wait to have another little human joining our adventures too,“James wrote.
