TheHousewiveshusband is the first-ever man from the Bravo franchise to dance for a chance to win the coveted Mirrorball Trophy — something he didn’t realize until he’d signed on. “I feel honored, and I’m glad I could be the one to pave the path for other Househusbands,” he said.
When he takes the floor, Umansky said he’s “100 percent” sure viewers will see his whole family supporting him from the sidelines.
PEOPLE exclusively broke the news of the couple’s relationship update in July. “Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof,” a source said at the time. “They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”
Hours later, the spouses of 27 years offered ajoint statement, denying any claims of divorce. “There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part,” they wrote. “Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”
In late August, Richards addressed the split in an Amazon Live with fans: “You knowthis has been very hardto do [because] it’s playing out with so many people having eyes on us and [with us] being in the public eye.”
