Former NFL star Adam Jones was booked into Boone County Jail in Kentucky.

Former NFL playerAdam “Pacman” Joneswas arrested at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on Monday after causing a disturbance as an “unruly passenger” on a flight, according to multiple reports.

Police were called to the airport at 6 a.m. to assist airport crew with a belligerent passenger on a flight scheduled for departure, airport spokesperson Mindy Kerschner said, perABC News, confirming that Jones was “arrested prior to takeoff and taken to Boone Country Detention Center.”

Captain Kevin Klute of the Boone County Jail said Jones was booked on misdemeanor counts of alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening, per the outlet.

According tojail records, Jones, 39, was released at about 11 a.m. the same day after paying a $500 bond.

“Who in the hell is drunk at 6:30 in the morning?,” the NFL star continued.

In 2017, theformer Cincinnati Bengals cornerback was arrestedon charges of assault, disorderly conduct, obstructing official business, and harassment with a bodily substance, Cincinnati police confirmed to PEOPLE at the time.

When police arrived, prosecutors alleged that Jones was “head butting” and “kicking” while resisting arrest.

Jones’ court appearance was a bond hearing and he did not enter a plea.

The former NFL star was also arrestedat least six other times between 2005 and 2013, including a 2005 felony assault charge that was later dismissed, PEOPLE confirmed at the time.

Jones was arrested 3 times in 2006, including a charge for possession of marijuana and 3 counts of obstructing police for which he received three years probation.

In August 2006, Jones was arrested for intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was then arrested for misdemeanor assault in October — with the charges later dropped.

A more serious charge followed in connection to his alleged role in a Las Vegas strip club shooting that left a club employee paralyzed. Jones pleaded no contest to a charge of conspiracy to commit disorderly conduct and received one year of probation and community service.
