Trisha Yearwood’s return to the 2024CMT Awardsis about to be a big one.
During tonight’s show at the Moody Center in Austin, the country singer, 59, will perform her new track, “Put It in a Song,” from her upcoming albumandwill become the first honoree of the inauguralJune Carter Cash Humanitarian Awardfor her devotion to service and community.
And to celebrate her big night, Yearwood, who last attended the show in 2019, wore a striking red carpet look.
She stepped out wearing all black — but it certainly had plenty of bells and whistles. Yearwood’s ankle-length turtleneck dress was covered in black sequins and the long sleeves ended in tons of gorgeous feathers for added drama.
